England – Scotland

England are the big favorites in this group and they started their participation here with a win. The Three Lions faced Croatia in their first match and did enough to achieve a 1-0 win over the World Cup finalists. The only goal was scored in the second half when Raheem Sterling put the ball in. The Manchester City star executed an assist from Kalvin Philips and his final touch was enough to put the ball in.

The English manager Gareth Southgate took an interesting decision for this game as he placed Kieran Trippier on the left flank of the defense. Many pundits and fans raised their eyebrows because Southgate has two great left backs in his squad – Ben Chilwell and Luke Shaw. Borussia Dortmund’s star Jadon Sancho didn’t take any participation in the match as well.

Scotland will try to recover after losing their first match in this group. The Tartan Army faced the Czech Republic in Glasgow, but the game ended with a 2-0 win for the Czech team. This put the Scottish team in a difficult position as they need to look for points against the strongest team in the group now.

Scotland’s manager Steve Clarke surprised a lot of people as he started the striker Che Adams from the bench in the first game. He’s one of the best forwards in the squad, so it won’t be entirely surprising if Adams starts the game against England on Friday. Callum McGregor could return in the starting eleven, too.

That’s our preview for the Euro 2020 match between England and Scotland on Friday. We expect some good football at the Wembley between these two British teams.
