Roma – Parma

Roma hosts Parma at the Stadio Olimpico in a game from the 8th round of the Serie A. Let’s take a good look at this fixture on Sunday.

Roma are finally getting in the shape they want to see themselves in. The Wolves are unbeaten in their last five matches in the Calcio and they won four of them. Thanks to this improvement Roma are now 4th in the standings with 14 points won and they are pretty close to the top. This is exactly what the manager Paulo Fonseca wants to see from his team.

Before the international break Roma secured another win in the Calcio. They traveled to face Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris and enjoyed a 3-1 win over the Grifoni. It was an amazing game for the Armenian international Henrikh Mkhitaryan who scored a hattrick for Roma.

If Roma keep this form until the end of the season we don’t have any doubts they would be among the contenders for the Serie A title. It’s all a subject of consistency.

Parma will arrive at the Olimpico after three draws in their last three matches. The Crusaders are currently 15th in the standings wtih 6 points and they have won just once since the first day of the season. It’s a food for thought for the manager Fabio Liverani and his boys – they need to find improvement as soon as possible.

In their last game Parma hosted Fiorentina at the Ennio Tardini, but the match ended without any goals scored – 0-0. In the second half Liverani put players like Karamoh, Brunetta and Sohm on the pitch, but no goals were scored.

That’s our preview for the Serie A game between Roma and Parma in the beautiful Italian capital. In terms of current form Roma are much ahead of Parma at the moment, but let’s wait and see.
